1. Data Controller

The controller of your personal data is ResearchTech, Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”), 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, United States.

2. What Data We Collect

When you submit the waitlist form, we store:

• Email address - the only information you type in
• Your consent and the time you gave it - a record that the checkbox was ticked, with a UTC timestamp
• IP address and browser user-agent - captured automatically by your browser’s request, retained to evidence the consent and to block abuse of the form

That is the entire record. We do not collect names, phone numbers, company details, or payment information at this stage, and the site runs no analytics or tracking of any kind.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis

We process your email address solely to:

• Add you to the early-access waitlist for Clemens
• Notify you when access becomes available
• Send occasional product updates related to your waitlist position

Legal basis: your freely given, specific, and informed consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), collected via the opt-in checkbox at registration.

The IP address and user-agent are not used to contact or profile you. We keep them on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in demonstrating that consent was given (Art. 7(1) GDPR) and in protecting the form against automated abuse.

4. Data Retention

We retain your email address for as long as the waitlist is active, or until you withdraw your consent - whichever comes first. Once access is granted and onboarding is complete, or if you unsubscribe, your waitlist record is deleted within 30 days.

5. Where Your Data Is Stored, and Who Else Sees It

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. At present exactly one sub-processor is involved:

• Cloudflare, Inc. - hosts this site and stores the waitlist database. The database is provisioned with the European Union jurisdiction, meaning your record is stored and processed within the EU. Cloudflare acts as our processor under a data processing agreement.

We currently use no email marketing platform, CRM, or analytics provider. If we add one in order to send you the waitlist notifications described above, we will update this policy before your data reaches it.

International transfers. Your record is stored in the EU, but ResearchTech, Inc. is established in the United States, and our staff access the waitlist from there. Where your data is accessed from outside the EEA, we rely on the appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access - request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Rectification - correct inaccurate data
• Erasure - request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Withdrawal of consent - unsubscribe at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing
• Restriction - ask us to limit how we use your data
• Portability - receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Lodge a complaint - with your national supervisory authority (in Poland: UODO, uodo.gov.pl)

7. Cookies and Local Storage

This site sets no cookies - none for the form, none for tracking, none for advertising. There is no analytics script and no advertising pixel anywhere on the page.

The only thing we keep in your browser is your light/dark theme choice, saved in local storage. It never leaves your device, is not personal data, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify waitlist members by email before the changes take effect.
